The m@b comic sports odd strips that might make you scratch your head after the first few pages. Matt uses a subdued humour in each strip, where you are looking for a punch but are left with the impression that you missed on something. After a few more pages, though, the mood starts to sink in and by the time you're done with this issue, it was finally worth it. A lot of the three-case strips stand on their own, although some recurring characters and events do link and add to m@b's background. Some strips are all-out hilarious and others are sad, but most of them just fit in the general direction this comic goes into, kind of like most Indian food tastes the same, yet one will keep on eating it.
