For most of you, the beginnings of m@b
are quite foreign. I started the comic as a holiday gift for my friends
back in late 1998. It soon found it's way into the hands of complete strangers.
And becuz my friends were silly enough to share them with the public, I
now have to share them with you. So never, ever thank me for this comic;
thank Trevor and Marion and Nick and Mez and Bob and Jay and all those facinating
people that decide to talk to me out of the blue.
So if you live in or around Toronto you should make your way down to Clinton's Thursday, Dec. 11 to help me celebrate 5 years of ripping off all of my friends' funny lines and insecurities.
There will be two musical guests: man-child rapper Just Like The Movies and The Phonemes (read a few paragraphs to get to band description). The music starts at 10pm. I will do a small talk just after 10:30 about my thoughts on m@b after five years and I'll share a story or two that didn't make it into the comic.
